Put Me in the Zoo

Updated: Aug 21, 2019

Here's a family favorite! It brings such great memories for our family, so I needed to share!

Such simple cadence allows for voices that are easy to create. The bear simply needed to be slightly deeper - you know...bears have a VERY deep grumble. The little girl and boy well were...little. A higher pitch served them well. Finally, the police officers...the drawings were reminiscent of 1920-ish time period so I clearly thought of an Irish/Boston/New York accent. Due to the short amount of talking for those characters, I was able to simply create the accent I loved. Maybe that accent needs to find a home in an upcoming story....hmmmmm....

Thank you for joining me and being a part of my story time! Please let me know if you have a favorite! I always love new books and characters!

Cheers until next time...xx
