Learning to Ski with Mr. Magee

This book speaks to me on MULTIPLE levels! Our family skis, so there's that. BUT if I'm honest, I think there's a lot of Mr. Magee in ME! Not so much that I go fast, but just the idea that I'm going to give it a try. I also LOVE the fact that he takes his dog EVERYWHERE! I mean who am I without my dog, Ella?

By the way...can we all agree that these pictures are absolutely gorgeous?!? I love the crisp, vivid color and drawings. If nothing else the pictures make me SMILE and isn't that what a good book should do? Evoke SOME emotion?

Mr. Magee has a VERY slight Irish accent - Irish is a tough accent to do and pick up on, but with a name like Magee, it HAD to be.

I hope this book brought a smile to your face! So whether you get outside and try skiing or ANYTHING new...just DO IT!
